The years covered by part V of the story of civilization focuses on the Renaissance in the land known now as Italy; or the cities of Florentine, Milan, Venice, Rome to names a few. 

There are XI volumes in the Durant's Story of Civilization.  This story will be the foundation of the reading of civilization.

This section is called Renaissance in hopes that in a resurrection of reading there will be a new Renaissance in this age.
